How Does Your Fashion Sense Stack Up?
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s fashion sense stacks up to the height of what’s hot, what’s trendy. Whether she’s dressed in elegant evening attire, or casual chic, Sarah’s got a multi-layered fashion personality.
She accessorizes her cardigan (in this year’s new neutral – grey) with a knit hat, Chanel sunglasses, some long chain and one of and my favorites, stackable bangle bracelets.
I’ve always loved bangles in multiples. There is something fun and perky about the jingle jangle of bangles, and with so many from which to choose, you can vary your look each time and make an impact by layering with one shade of gold, or mixing them up by pairing white gold with yellow gold. Or, smooth bangles with textured.

This Two Tone Gold Bangle is yet another stylish candidate for layering and conducive to combining both white and yellow gold bangles together.
A classic, thin Yellow Gold Bangle alone, or in multiples always stacks up to the right look in any season.

How elegant is this sparkling Diamond Cut Two Tone Gold Bangle? Another great choice to anchor bangles of both gold hues.
Here’s an unusual bangle which is perfect for stacking – the exterior is white gold with textural interest and the interior is yellow gold. I love this one!
Have fun, mixing and matching!

Hey I like your blog a lot. My sister has asked me to buy her stackng bangles for Christmas. I’m thinking of getting her three but don’t know if I should mix and match them or get them in one type of gold and she can mix them later. Also she has a small wrist. Can these be sized? Maybe you could let me know? Thank you!!

Hi Beau — thanks for dropping by. I think your sister will be thrilled with a gift of bangles. Be sure to check the full selection on www.diamondharmony.com. They have many from which to choose — I just featured a small sampling. I likewise have a very small wrist and have had success getting them sized. This works well with a plain bangle. A bangle with a design, pattern, will not be as easy to size as one without.
You can’t go wrong choosing two or three bangles in either a yellow or a white gold. Or two of one, one of another. In future, your sister can then add to her collection and as you said, mix them up herself! Let me know what you chose for her!

I’ve always liked bangles too. I like the white gold one with the yellow gold inside a lot. I think that’s a good choice to base mixes and matches on, They all are! On my Christmas wish list they go! Thank you. Great blog.

Hi Lori! It’s difficult to choose, isn’t it? They’re all so nice. I hope your wishes are fulfilled!
Jon it’s always good to see you, though I doubt we will be seeing you with an armful of bangles. Keep these in mind, however, because the new love in your life might welcome a few for a Christmas present!
I will see you again soon.

I just love these bangles and agree it’s perfectly fine to mix ‘em up–white and yellow gold together accessorizes very well with two-tone gold rings!

Jon! *without* the diamonds? Oh, alright, then. But don’t forget — Valentine’s Day is another occasion for which you should *really* consider something of the diamond variety!
Just think of the points you will score with the gift of a sparkler! Or, better yet, don’t way for a special occasion — what about spontaneous gestures of glitzy gifts?
Hello, Ms. Northest Jewelry! You’re right — they’ll be lovely with the two-toned rings. I’m really partial to mixing metals. It’s great to have these options!
