Kate Middleton — Princess In Waiting
Oft photographed, Kate Middleton, the so called Princess In Waiting, and her relationship with Prince William, is the subject of much media scrutiny.
Though her parents are self made millionaires, she was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and lacks the pedigree associated with Royalty. She is, however, educated, gainfully employed, and self assured. With her long, dark, glossy mane, cerulean blue eyes and svelte figure, she is both hip, and also refined, whatever the situation dictates.
One would think given her Princess in Waiting status she would be sporting bling for Britain – royal jewels passed down, or pieces gifted to her by Prince William – knock offs in the making. That’s not the case– Kate appears to adorn herself with pieces likely self purchased, embracing classic items, as well as trends, she has fun with fashion and is occasion appropriate.
No frumpy frocks for Kate! Shown here, she’s enjoying a night out on the town. Wearing a black crochet mini, velvet fitted jacket and the high boots which she favours, she accessories not with royal jewels, but the ever popular Chandelier earrings. Notice how they sway dramatically and make such an exotic touch against the background of her monochromatic outfit and dark tresses.

She is gorgeous, and I think has a good head on her shoulders. I say this because earlier in the year when they had one of their break-ups she was offered a small fortune to collaborate on a “Tell All” but chose not to. They compare her to Diana so much but I think she’s prettier and has a lot more on the ball. I certainly hope she doesn’t meet with the same tragic fate. Wonder if they’ll get married in 2008?
These earrings seem to be here to stay. They are so hot now. I like them a lot, as do all my friends. I’m crushing over the two tone pair you showed because I have yellow gold but not two tone. I pointed a certain someone to your blog with the link to order. Just a subtle hint!!

Very pretty girl. I think he could do a lot worse. If he doesn’t pop the question soon though, she should move on. There have been too many splits between them (or so they may want us to think so they won’t be stalked by the paps?).
So far I’ve been to 4 holiday parties. Most of the women there were wearing this type of earrings. They are a great way to update for not a lot of money and they’re so “all season”.

Hi, Beau! She does seem to have a good head on her shoulders. I like her style, too. At least the Royals are progressive, somewhat, in their current stance regarding “commoners”. LOL I love those earrings, too. If I had to choose only one item of jewelry, earrings would always win out as my first choice. This style of earring is a lot of fun, don’t you think?
Lori, I agree — he could certainly do a lot worse. This poor girl gets a lot of flack from the media. Theirs was a friendship which grew into a romantic relationship. I do not think she’s a “gold digger”, as has been suggested by the sensationalist media in the UK. I’ve likewise seen many women wearing these earrings. They seem perfectly suited to all face shapes, too!
Hey Sharon! They have actually broken up — numerous times. But as Lori mentioned, who knows if it’s a ploy to get the media off their track. They pursue them relentlessly. Still, though, it looks as if they have a lot of fun and lead as “normal” a life as possible. She has lost a lot of weight. At one point I thought she was dropping too much. She probably wants to fit into a stunning wedding dress…whenever that might be!
