Kate Walsh Awesome in Azzaro!
Actress Kate Walsh of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice fame, strutted her stuff at the 2008 NAACP Image Awards.
Since marrying movie executive Alex Young last year, Kate’s life has continued to be a flurry of activity, both on a personal and professional level. In spite of her hiatus during the writer’s strike, Kate has been keeping busy on the political scene channeling her efforts toward the Obama camp. Additionally, she recently invested funds, and time, in a cause near and dear to her heart – the opening of an animal shelter in New York city.
Her frenetic lifestyle aside, Kate always looks classically beautiful in her choice of attire when seen out and about at events. Here, she looks absolutely radiant in an off the shoulder Azzaro gown.
Kate accessorizes with sapphire and diamond drop earrings and a sapphire and diamond circlet bracelet (a bit of an anomaly is the yellow gold and diamond bangle she’s added to the mix!).

She’s looking good! I can’t imagine why she added that gold bangle which doesn’t match the other pieces she’s wearing. I love white gold and sapphires and really REALLY like those last bracelets with the different shapes.

The gold bracelet is the Cartier Love Bracelet she got from her husband on her wedding day. You cant just take it off, it is screwed on meaning she would have to go to the actual jeweler to get it taken off.

The gold bracelet is a Cartier Love Bracelet which is likely to have been a wedding day present from her husband. They are screwed to fit the wearer’s wrist & can only be ‘unlocked’ by using a key, therefore they are worn permanently.

Hi Jamie and Jen — I wasn’t aware of that! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I may be a tad neurotic, but I’d not mix pieces that diverge so much. Therefore, although I think the idea is a romantic, one, I think I’d have commitment anxiety about that “concept bracelet”. There is also other ways to interpret it (which aren’t so romantic!).

The gold bracelet is Cartier’s Love Bracelet that she got from Alex.
Aparently she doesn’t take it off, since none of the pics since she got married show her without it.

Kate looks ravishing in the Azzaro gown. The sapphire bracelet and earrings are a perfect match for her beauty and style. Sapphire is commonly associated with endurance and longevity and its style is in fashion forever.

You would thing with all the bling she has on that it would clash with each other, but it’s worked out so beautifully.
I love blue gemstones and when you pair it up with diamonds, well….. I wish I had more money to buy more!
